A holyday in Oltrepo Pavese
Scenic garden with a great view of the Versa Valley. On serene days, it is an emotion: from the Mont Blanc range to the mountains of Lake Garda, you can see the Padana Plain surrounded by the Alps.
Villa Gaia is on three levels. The owners live on the ground floor. On the first floor and in the attic for guests we rent GLICINE for 6 people.
It is offered the chance to make homemade pasta to those who stay at least a week. Luisa prepares the sauce and everyone has dinner together in the evening.
Our stay at Villa Gaia has been magnificent. A nice family and a beautiful house with a nice garden. A perfect getaway!
Villa Gaia Italia
Villa Gaia is a historical farmhouse in the midst of the vineyards, surrounded by a large garden with a swimming pool and a view which extends over plains of the river Po towards the mountain range of the Alps in the north.It is a country house which allows its guests to enjoy the tranquility and the relaxation which the place has to offer. It is situated in the first hills of the Oltrepò Pavese, in Santa Maria della Versa, in the province of Pavia.
Its unique geographical position makes it easily possible to go on daytrip excursions to Milan, Pavia, Genoa or the Ligurian Sea. This area, sandwiched between Piemonte and Emilia-Romagna, lets itself easily be discovered by its variety of hills and mountains, woods, castles, monasteries, villages and its excellent wines.
The changing colours of the seasons, the rolling landscape and this combined with the art, history and culture present in this region, makes it that today many define the Oltrepò as the new Tuscany.
The geographical location of Villa Gaia allows day trips to Milan, Pavia, Genoa, the Ligurian Sea, Lake Garda and of course the many historical towns.
